BIG PHARMA:

Big Pharma is a term used to refer to all of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies.

Big Pharma was born from the gradual merger of mid-sized pharmaceutical companies. This was regrettable because they were run by large families with sometimes generous and philanthropic objectives. Unfortunately, from the moment these companies started to merge with each other, they gave birth to the big multinationals like Pfizer, Sanofi, Merck, GSK, etc., run by shareholders interested only in profitability.

Something that is not very difficult to do since it is the laboratories themselves which train them in their products and who canvass them via their medical representatives. And of course, the latter are encouraged to do everything possible (free trips, free meals, various and varied gifts, etc.) to encourage doctors to prescribe Big Pharma products to their patients.

Today, whether or not you are part of the medical profession (doctor, nurse, caregiver, researcher, etc.), it is very difficult to highlight the excesses of Big Pharma without being immediately accused of being a conspirator. No negative criticism, even justified, will be accepted or considered admissible if it goes against this lobby …
