Few companies in the world can be proud to have a history as old as that of Hahnemühle.
The Hahnemühle paper factory, founded in 1584 in Solling in the south of Lower Saxony.
It has resolutely developed in line with its founding fathers and has become a manufacture close to its customers and innovative.
Obviously, products and manufacturing methods have changed somewhat since 1584.
It was initially handmade writing paper; later fine art papers were added.
More recently, a whole range of FineArt papers for digital inkjet printing, invented by Hahnemühle.
In addition, Hahnemühle papers have been used for decades in industrial products and manufacturing processes as well as in research laboratories.
But some things remained the same
For example, our high level of quality requirement which guarantees our customers the purest papers for art or technical applications.
